Summit isn’t just about classes; during our free time, we spend lots of time outside and adventuring! Every afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities. Several of those afternoons you will have the option to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and ultimate Frisbee.
Sunday – Students will have the option to take a trip to downtown Philadelphia and spend the day exploring the amazing historical sites.

On-Campus
- Indoor: If the outdoors aren’t your thing, students can discuss the day’s lectures or play guitars (Feel free to bring your instruments to Summit — at least those that can easily fit in a dorm room!) on Lancaster’s beautiful campus during the afternoon.
- Performance Night: Bring your instruments, funny or unique talents, skits, etc. and try out for this exciting evening.
Off-Campus
- Spooky Nook Sports: The largest indoor sports complex in North America! We will be spending some of our free time at Spooky Nook playing anything from volleyball to rock climbing etc. $20
- Refreshing Mountain: This high ropes course will help you conquer your fears while working through up to 22 different challenge elements. With two separate levels of 11 obstacles each, participants will have the choice to do the first level ranging from 3-13 feet off the ground and the opportunity to push it further and do the second level ranging from 15-25 feet off the ground. With 22 challenging elements, this course is full of fun for all athletic abilities. $20-40
- Sight & Sound: JESUS is the action-packed musical stage adventure that takes you on a miraculous journey alongside the most famous person ever to walk the earth and the everyday people whose lives he changed forever. Free
- The Amish Experience: Take a journey through time on a customized experience through the Amish farmlands. Students will explore an Amish homestead and schoolhouse. The tour will end with a Q&A with a leader in the Amish community. $15
Sight & Sound is offering free admission for all Pennsylvania students! Students will enjoy a night of arts and entertainment generously provided by Sight and Sound, whose CEO attended Summit Student Conference as a teenager.
