Attend a Georgia Student Conference in 2023!

Choose one of the following questions and upload your essay!

  1. Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
  2. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
  3. What would your TED Talk be about if you had 10 minutes and the attention of a million people?

Give your teens an unshakeable faith this summer that will last a lifetime. Summit Ministries’ summer Student Conferences give them reasons to trust the biblical foundation you have laid for them. Students will wrestle through the hard questions of their faith and build an unshakeable resolve to follow Jesus.

Essay Requirements

Essay Requirements:
  • 750-1000 words
  • Times New Roman or Arial 12pt font
  • Double spaced.
Please ensure that your name is clearly marked on the page, and the essay question you chose is noted at the top of your first page. When formatting your essay, MLA formatting is preferred.

Why Apply?

Each award is intended to cover the total cost of Summit’s iconic Student Conference – including tuition, housing, and meals – for the two-week conference. If awarded this scholarship, recipients will need to pay the $195 non-refundable deposit to save your seat for the session of your choice (limited by availability).

Students who attend a Student Conference leave with tools to own their faith and champion a biblical worldview. At Summit’s Student Conferences, high school and college students are given the opportunity to work through the issues that test their faith. Our world-class speakers include Dr. Jeff Myers, Dr. Sean McDowell, J. Warner Wallace, Alan Shlemon, Dr. Kathy Koch, and many more.

Students will:

  • Meet like-minded peers and make lifelong friends
  • Deepen their relationship with God
  • Learn to confidently and winsomely engage culture

Who Can Apply?

Students who are homeschooled and between the ages of 16 and 22. .
