Summit Summer is a two-week conference where students experience spiritual growth as they explore relevant cultural topics to help them think deeper about their personal faith and convictions. Students engage with like-minded peers, ages 16-25, and learn to think well about their faith, purpose, and identity with world-class faculty.

Why attend Summit Ministries in Georgia?

Our Georgia Summit offers attendees thoughtful lectures, open forum Q&A with our faculty, and small group discussions. Perched on top of Lookout Mountain, students experience the splendor of the panoramic mountain views of Chattanooga, TN, the Tennessee River, historic Civil War-era battlegrounds, and seven adjacent states.

Activities on the mountain include the Incline railway into Chattanooga, Rock City (with magical rock formations, and a stroll along the 4,100-foot Enchanted Trail to Lover’s Leap), dozens of miles of hiking and running trails, and Ruby Falls (the nation’s tallest and deepest underground waterfall). Off-campus activities include white water rafting on the Ocoee River (with five miles of continuous Class IV rapids), paddleboarding, kayaking or canoeing on the Tenessee River, a visit to the Tennessee Aquarium (where you can enjoy playful penguins, touch a stingray, and marvel at otters, giant catfish, and sharks), or stroll across the historic Walnut Street Bridge followed by a picnic along the riverfront at Coolidge Park. There’s something for every interest at Lookout Mountain.

Covenant College

Covenant College will offer a scholarship of  $10,000 to any new student who attends the Summit Student Conference and then enrolls as a student at Covenant. The scholarship will award $2,500 per year for up to four years, as long as academic standards are met in line with this scholarship. Explore Covenant College programs here.

We understand the unique challenges around the desire for deep relationships and intentional conversations about faith.

At Summit Ministries, over 475,000 students and adults have discovered the value of truth and relationship. More than knowing what they believe, they connect their faith with a Christian worldview, live it out, and lead others to do the same.
