Summit empowered Anna Frazier to lead amid hardships in her life.

“When I came to Summit, I was searching for answers to be able to fully equip my team to be taken over after I left,” Anna says.
But Anna’s opportunity to attend Summit wasn’t certain. Five years ago, her dad took a step of faith and stepped down from his job. Although God faithfully provided for the family’s needs, Anna’s parents still couldn’t afford to send her to Summit in 2024.
“That’s why I cried when I saw that I received this scholarship,” says Anna.
“It was such a huge blessing because I knew Summit could help me develop the tools I needed to lead my FCA team through a leadership transition. It was an answer to prayers.”
During her time at Summit, Anna was deeply moved by lectures on the Imago Dei—the concept that we are made in God’s image.

Understanding her identity in Christ equipped Anna to face one of the most trying times in her faith while continuing to pour into FCA’s future leaders.
Shortly after returning from Summit, Anna had to say goodbye to two close friends. The very next day, a cherished mentor passed away, and just 2 months later, Anna’s grandmother died as well.
“But by the grace of God, I was able to keep going, and through my understanding of the Imago Dei, I felt peace,” explains Anna.
Despite facing grief and tragedy after Summit, Anna relied on her identity in Christ. Through his strength, she was able to mentor the young woman who would carry on FCA’s leadership.
“Summit equipped me to be able to recognize the leadership in her. She’s going to lead very differently than I did, but it’s going to be so good,” says Anna.
