Do Christians and Jews Worship the Same God? | Dr. Matt Jones

Summit Ministries

Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? Christianity and Islam are both monotheistic religions with important historical and theological connections, but they make significantly different claims about who God is.

Dr. Matt Jones compares how these three faiths understand God, the Trinity, Jesus, salvation, and Scripture. He explains why, from the Christian theological perspective presented here, these differences are substantial enough to reject the claim that all three religions worship the same God.
