College Scholarship Opportunities

The following colleges will accept the Summit Virtual completion certificate and award students with college scholarships. Contact Summit’s front office for a copy of your completion certificate.

Asbury University

Asbury University is pleased to offer a $2,500 scholarship to Summit Ministries alumni. This scholarship is renewable for four years as long as the student remains in good standing at Asbury. To receive it, students must apply, be accepted and complete the Asbury University Summit Scholarship application before the deadline.

Dordt University

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa is pleased to offer a $2,000 scholarship to Summit Ministries alumni.  The scholarship is available to new students who are accepted for admission and enroll as a first-year undergraduate student at Dordt University.  This scholarship is renewable annually for up to four years, as long as the student remains in good standing at Dordt University. Friends University

Friends University, a Christian university of Quaker heritage in Wichita, Kansas is offering first-time freshmen and transfer students a $2,500 scholarship for Summit Ministries alumni. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years, as long as the student remains in good standing at Friends University. Students must apply and be accepted, and then show proof of participation in a Summit Ministries Conference. Friends University offers more than 60 areas of study including Christian Spiritual Formation, Ballet, and Zoo Science.

Gutenburg College

Students must enroll full-time at Gutenberg College within one year of completing Summit Online to be eligible for a four-year renewable* $500 grant or within one year of completing the Summit Semester to be eligible for a four-year renewable* $1,000 grant. These grants may be combined.

Lancaster Bible College

Lancaster Bible College (LBC) will offer a scholarship of $8,000 ($2,000 per year, for up to four years) to a student who has not yet applied to LBC.

Prospective students who have already applied to, or have been accepted at LBC, are eligible for a $4,000 scholarship ($1,000 per year, for up to four years). Students must graduate from a Summit Online or a Student Conference.

OneLife Institute

OneLife is offering to reimburse the cost of any Summit Online session in the form of a scholarship to OneLife, equalling $824.

Taylor University

Taylor University will award a $1,000 per year scholarship (renewable annually for up to 4 years) to every Summit Ministries alumni who attended Summit Online or a Summit Conference prior to senior year in high school and enrolls full-time as a first-time student at Taylor.
