WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a college sophomore or above who is passionate about Summit’s vision of “cultivating a rising generation to champion a biblical worldview.” Our team loves to work hard and has a blast serving together!
We want to add an intern to our team who is flexible, self-motivated, loves jumping from one project to the next, and is comfortable with sharing Summit’s mission with new acquaintances. The Advancement Intern must be available to work on-site at Summit’s Headquarters through the entirety of the internship. (We understand that situations may arise during the internship that may require our intern to leave for a few days. We will do our best to work with applicants if necessary.)
Location: Summit Headquarters, Manitou Springs, CO. Interns live on-site in provided housing.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation: Paid Internship
Dates: May 13-August 30, 2024
Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour Please note: $275 per month for meals and $175 per month in rent will be deducted from pay.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The Advancement Intern will work with the Advancement Department on various projects such as (but not limited to):
- Assisting with research of potential fundraising opportunities
- Making thank you phone calls to supporters
- Assisting with donor appreciation projects and mailers
- Data management (experience with Excel and Google Sheets is a plus)
- Managing Student Staff Auction
- Interviewing current students and graduates to collect impact stories
- Creating compelling ways to connect with donors
- Assisting with fundraising event planning
