This will be a wonderful time of getting to know like-minded believers, hearing more about Summit’s vision, and enjoying all that The Cove has to offer. We can’t wait to connect with you! Built on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s longstanding commitment to spiritual formation, The Cove has for over 20 years, offered life-changing Bible teaching by respected Christian speakers and soul-stirring praise led by gifted worship leaders. More than majestic views and natural beauty, the true wonder on this mountain is God’s work in the hearts of guests as they study His Word and open their hearts to Him through worship. The Cove is the perfect setting for you to answer His call as you stroll winding trails through 1,200 acres of natural wonder. Quiet your spirit as you rest in one of The Cove’s charming country inns. Connect with friends old and new by a laughing fire, at a breathtaking overlook, or over a gourmet meal in the scenic dining room.
FAQ’s:
Will you offer transportation? Unfortunately, we are unable to offer transportation to and from The Cove. We recommend flying into:
- Asheville Airport (AVL): 14 miles
- Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP): 82 miles
The Cove is located at 1 Porters Cove Road, Asheville, NC 28805. It is accessible from Interstate 40 on the east side of Asheville, NC at Exit 55 and from Highway 70 (Tunnel Road) on Porter’s Cove Road. You will be greeted at the Gatehouse and given further instructions on parking and location of lodging.
When should we arrive? Check in at The Cove will be at 3pm on Thursday, March 20th.
When should we leave? Check out at The Cove is at 11am on Sunday, March 23rd.
What should we wear? Conference attire is casual. Weather in Asheville can vary. We recommend bringing layers. You will have time to enjoy all the beautiful scenery that The Cove has to offer; walking or hiking shoes are recommended.
How much is Vision Weekend? Summit is pleased to offer this complimentary event to our close friends and supporters. Your only costs will be flights, transportation, parking/valet, lunches, and any additional activities you choose to participate in.
