Overview

- Summit Ministries uses a 10-point grading scale (93–100% = A | 90–92% = A- | 87–89% = B+ | 83– 86% = B | 80–82% = B- | 77–79% = C+ | 73–76% = C | 70–72% = C | 69% or below = No Credit)
Registration & Tuition
- Separate registration for college credit must be filled by 5 pm on the first day of your online session or noon on the second Monday for your in-person session.
- Include your non-refundable tuition payment—$450 for three credits. $350 for two credits. $250 for one credit.
Important Deadlines for in person
The below information is meant to serve as a high-level overview. There will be an in-depth meeting held during each session to answer specific questions and give more details about the steps to acquire college credit.
- 1st Tuesday of a session – College credit overview
- 1st Tuesday of a session – College credit overview meeting in the class from Noon to 12:15 pm.
- 2nd Monday of a session – Application, and Tuition due at the front desk by Noon.
- 2nd Thursday of a session – College credit exam review in the classroom from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm.
- 2nd Thursday of a session – Also, the essay is due by 2:30 pm.
- 2nd Friday of a session – College credit exam in the classroom from 1 pm to 2:15 pm.
- Saturday – The clock starts for the 15-page minimum research paper (3 credits). The Paper is due in 30 days.

2 Credit hours
- Take a college credit comprehensive exam based on Summit lectures
- Write a 2-page worldview essay (due 2nd Thursday of the session )
- Read assigned excerpts of Understanding the Times Chapters 1 and 2 as well as 2 additional chapters from Chapters 8-17
- Attend three Open Forums
3 Credit hours
- Take a college credit comprehensive exam based on Summit lectures
- Write a 2-page worldview essay (due 2nd Thursday of the session )
- Read assigned excerpts of Understanding the Times Chapters 1 and 2 as well as 4 additional chapters from Chapters 8-17
- Attend three Open Forums
- Write a 12-page minimum research paper (due 30 days after the session ends
