Summit Role: Properties Coordinator

Properties Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director of Properties
CLASSIFICATION: FT/Non-exempt
PAY RATE: $27-30/hr DOE
Applications received through: Dec 2, 2025 (unless filled)

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Maintain and develop operational services with staff, tenants, and contractors utilized by the Ministry Services Department. Enable greater efficiency for the Properties Group through streamlined tenant communications, more efficient domestics and kitchen operating procedures, and improved function of maintenance management systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tenant Services

  • Draft rental agreements for staff and non-staff rentals.
  • Manage tenant onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Help to prioritize incoming tenant-driven maintenance requests.
  • Communicate all pertinent information with village tenants.
  • Complete the check-in and check-out process with tenants.
  • Assist the Director of Properties with managing rent invoices.

Hospitality/Programs Support

  • Assist the Hospitality Team in Implementing procedures and quality control for domestic services in all facilities.
  • Provide kitchen support through summer staff training and written operating procedures.
  • Assist the Hospitality Manager with planning and executing all in-house Summit events.
  • Support the Conferences and Events team with coordinating all graduation events (ie. event planning software, ticketing, check in, shuttling service, & communications)
  • Complete cabin turnovers when necessary.
  • Manage the design, cleanliness, and administrative processes in the Maintenance Office.

Property Development

  • Assist the Project Manager and Maintenance Supervisor with managing work orders in the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Schedule regular maintenance/inspections of fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, backflow preventers, range hoods, and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Coordinate with volunteer groups to help improve Summit’s campus.

Administrative Services

  • Act as the first point of contact internally and externally for all properties related requests
  • Create and revise campus maps using Microsoft Publisher & Photoshop
  • Procure supplies/equipment for the properties team
  • Assist Director of Properties with the hiring process for various positions on the properties team
  • Assist Director of Properties with updating the mass communication system templates, and contact lists, and send out alerts as needed.
  • Update and organize all properties related documents/information 

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mature Christian, grounded in the Word and Biblical worldview
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace apps
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work within a team
  • Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong initiative and problem solving
  • Able to operate well under the pressure of deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, especially with cleanliness and order of physical surroundings
  • Purchasing savvy

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Food Handler Certification
  • Minimum four years of experience in customer service.
  • Some experience with property maintenance or construction is preferred.
