Faith for Life
These students, born between 1999-2015, believe that identity comes from belief, sexual orientation, or what they do, rather than their Creator. Summit has connected with teenagers for over 55 years to answer these kinds of hard questions. At this event we welcomed worldview experts John Stonestreet, Dr. Christopher Yuan, and Caleb Kaltenbach. These speakers will equip you with information and practical strategies for helping students to navigate within a sexually broken culture.
When you register for this Basecamp you’ll receive the following:
John Stonestreet serves as President of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. A gifted communicator on areas of faith and culture, theology, worldview, education, and apologetics, John is a sought-after speaker, published author, and respected cultural commentator.
Caleb is the Lead Pastor at Discovery Church in Simi Valley, CA (a church dedicated to engaging unchurched people). He was born in Columbia, MO and was raised there (as well as Kansas City). When he was in high school, he joined a Bible study to learn how to disprove the Bible, but ended up following Jesus instead.
Dr. Yuan has taught the Bible at Moody Bible Institute for twelve years and his speaking ministry on faith and sexuality has reached five continents. He speaks at conferences, on college campuses, and in churches. He has co-authored with his mother their memoir, Out of a Far Country: A Gay Son’s Journey to God. A Broken Mother’s Search for Hope.
