The Summit Leadership Cohort

Summit Graduate Support, in partnership with the founders of Wheatstone Ministries, is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 Summit Graduate Leadership Cohort.

Apply Today

It’s time to stand firm and step forward.

A mentorship program for young professionals ages 18-to-30.

You’re a Summit Graduate who has already experienced worldview training at a Summit Student Conference or Gap Year, and you’re asking yourself, “Now what?”

The Summit Leadership Cohort is an opportunity to continue to learn how to  live out the Christian worldview and steward the influence God has given you. Everybody has influence, but a Christian leader is willing to use theirs to put the glory of God on display through the love and service of God and others.

Everybody has influence…but true Leaders glorify God.

Whether you’re in college, graduate school, in the workforce, or a young adult working out God’s plan for your life, this program is for you. Spend the next school year (September 2026 to June 2027) in a mentored experience crafted to reassure you that you’re not alone (Relationship)  and you’re not crazy (Truth). In partnership with Wheatstone Ministries, the Leadership Cohort is a highly intentional mentorship program to help you grow in conviction, character, and competence as you lead others from and for a Christian worldview in this cultural moment. You will wrestle with understanding your life and calling through these leadership questions.

“What is good that I can promote, celebrate, and preserve?”

“What is missing that I can contribute?”

“What is evil that I can stop?”

“What is broken that I can restore?”

You’ll be trained how to speak the truth in love, live a life consistent with the Christian worldview, and expose false worldviews.

The 2026-2027 Cohort begins virtually in September 2026, and culminates in an in-person Capstone Gathering in late May/early June 2027.

The program is highly customizable with only two requirements: one-on-one mentorship meetings with your assigned mentor and attendance at the Capstone Gathering (details below).

Full Program Offerings – Designed to Fit Your Schedule!

This program provides so much more than the mentorship meetings and the culminating in-person event. The program schedule can be adjusted based on where God has placed you now by training to prepare you for where God will lead you next. As an adaptable leadership training program, you’ll be able to participate in the following opportunities:

  • ORIENTATION: Join us for a kickoff meeting to meet your fellow Cohort members, mentors, and receive a program overview and calendar.
  • LEADERSHIP TRAINING: Watch a 1-hour recorded Porch Talk with a Summit Faculty and participate in monthly 1-hour Porch Talk Discussions with the faculty and other Summit grads.
    • This is where the bulk of the leadership training will take place. While we understand making every event might not be possible for everyone, we encourage all Cohort members to take advantage of these opportunities to engage personally with beloved Summit Faculty. All meetings will be recorded and made available to absent members.
  • MENTORSHIP (Required): Receive 1-on-1 mentoring twice* during the cohort year.
    • *More mentorship opportunities can be worked out directly with your mentor.
  • SMALL GROUPS: Experience regular fellowship and community with fellow Summit grads through live online small groups led by a mentor.
  • FELLOWSHIP: Members will also be invited to monthly “Cohort Fellowship” virtual meetings, to hang out, play games, and pray with fellow members.
  • CULMINATING CAPSTONE GATHERING (Required): Attend the Capstone Gathering, a 7-day immersive, in-person event with select Summit Faculty in late May/early June. Learn more about the Capstone Gathering below.
  • IN THE KNOW: Additionally, students in the Leadership Cohort will be the first to know about additional Summit Graduate Support opportunities, such as Book Studies and regional gatherings.

No matter your current work or school load, this program is still designed for you – you get out what you put in. If you have the capacity to attend every event, great! We want you to grow and learn as much as you can. But if you’re in a season where attendance isn’t always possible, the material will still be available to you as you receive training on your time. Customize this program to fit your schedule while still taking advantage of all the opportunities for leadership training it provides.

Capstone Gathering

The Capstone Gathering is a vital component of the Leadership Cohort. We’ll spend a full week in person, with beloved Summit Faculty and all the Cohort students in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Leadership is not merely clarity of thought; it’s presence. In-person gathering forms skills that no Zoom room can replicate: reading the room, navigating conflict, listening without distraction, serving one another in ordinary moments. The Capstone Gathering trains students not just to think Christianly, but to lead faithfully among real people.

This year we are expanding into two Cohorts, and thus two Gatherings. Based on which Capstone Gathering you’re able to attend, you’ll be sorted into a specific Cohort group. All the monthly events will be with your particular Cohort, fostering relationships throughout the year for the culmination of the Capstone.

Capstone Gathering 1: May 23 – May 29, 2027

Capstone Gathering 2: May 30 – June 5, 2027

The Leadership Cohort is a free* program. *The only cost associated with those accepted to the Cohort is transportation to and from the Capstone Gathering.
