College Credit & College Scholarships
Up to $10,000 in scholarships and 3 hours of college credits

Tuition Assistance 

Tuition assistance is available based on each student’s financial need and can be applied for after registering. Please review the Tuition Assistance Overview Document. Limited funds are available. 

  1. Create a registration account (click here).  

  1. Pay the deposit to reserve your seat for your Student Conference session. 

  1. Apply for tuition assistance from within the registration system.  

Refund Policy 

If we are forced to alter or cancel sessions due to COVID-19 CDC recommendations, we will let you know immediately.  Summit is committed to eliminating the financial risks. If we are forced to cancel any sessions, you will have two options: 

  • Receive a full refund (including deposit) 
  • Transfer to a session later in the summer 

Frequently Asked Questions

Are vaccines mandatory for students, staff, and faculty during the in-person sessions? 

COVID-19 vaccines are not mandatory for Student Conference attendance. 

What happens if someone tests positive for a contagious illness? 

In the event of an illness – including COVID-19 – the Summit healthcare team will Isolate, confirm, respond, and, if necessary, isolate the impacted student or staffer. Of course, we will communicate with family members, and strive to handle any positive cases with compassion, care, and concern. 

What is being done to ensure the safety of my student during their session? 

All staff, students, and guests of Summit will be required to wear a Summit lanyard. Our staff is highly aware of who is coming and going in the classroom and interacting with students.  

Is there medical staff onsite during the two-week conference? 

YES, medical staff is always onsite. This year we have strengthened our team to include RNs. With new procedures in place to monitor students to ensure the safety and wellbeing, you can be confident that students will be cared for by highly trained professionals. 

Can I request my roommate? 

If you would like to request a roommate for your session, you can do this during the registration process. 

How will students get from the airport to their session?

Will parents be allowed on campus during graduation ceremonies?  

It is our desire for parents to be able to attend our graduation ceremonies. See the  Colorado Logistics and Georgia Logistics sections.

Colorado Logistics

What can I expect each day? 

  • Every morning starts with morning traditions: the pledge of allegiance, amazing grace, morning devotional, and prayer.
  • Every afternoon students enjoy a few hours of free time.
  • After dinner, each evening session begins with live worship and ends with a classroom session or small groups.
  • Activities include the Garden of the Gods trip, Porch chats with speakers, group outings, sports time, rock climbing, laser tag, exploring the town, community service options, hiking.

Flight Information
Arrival Times 

Regarding proper flight arrival times, please make reservations to arrive at the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) on the first Sunday of your session between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM (check-in hours on campus are from noon to 5 PM.) If arriving earlier or later at the airport, students may have to wait longer for a shuttle. If your flight is delayed or if you arrive after 5:00 PM, please call the front desk at 719-685-2866.

Departure Times 

Regarding departures, please make arrangements to depart on the morning of the second Saturday of the session by 10:00 am. (Shuttle service will be provided on this day with shuttles departing Summit at 4:00 AM, 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, and 10:00 AM)

Airport Shuttle to Manitou Springs 

Summit Ministries offers a shuttle from the COS airport (cost is $20 one-way). A shuttle can be secured for your student by updating the travel tab in your registration portal. Summit staff will be in the baggage claim area of the Colorado Springs Airport from 10 AM to 5 PM. If you have any trouble locating our Summit staff on the day of your arrival, please call Summit Ministries at 719.685.9103. Please note, if we do not receive your transportation form by the deadline, we cannot guarantee transportation for your student.

Summit Ministries can only provide transportation to and from the Colorado Springs Airport. Those arriving in Denver will need to find their own transportation (see Colorado Springs Shuttle Services) to the Summit Hotel.

Driving Information

Thinking of driving to Manitou Springs? We wish we could offer that as an easy option, but we don’t have any onsite parking for students attending a session.

Will parents be allowed on campus during graduation ceremonies?  

Yes! It is our desire for parents to be able to attend our graduation ceremonies. The graduation celebration gives parents a glimpse into the two-week experience and ends with a night of dancing to close out the session!

Georgia Logistics

Is the Georgia experience the same as the Colorado experience?
