Summit Launches at LBC

Lancaster Bible College is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Summit Ministries to host a biblical worldview conference for high school students on our campus in the summer of 2018 – and we want you to be a part of it!

To learn more about this exciting conference and kick off our partnership with Summit, join us for an invitation-only presentation and dessert reception on Monday, November 13 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at our Lancaster campus.

What is the Conference About?

The Summit Worldview Conference is an amazing two-week event that helps young people (ages 16 – 25) strengthen their faith, understand their worldview and ask tough questions. Plus, they earn 3 transferable college credits! Want to learn more? Watch this video.

Why is LBC Partnering with Summit Ministries?

This is a great opportunity for Summit to reach and prepare even more students to stand up for their faith, and a great way for LBC to interact with prospective, mission-fit students from all over the country. Together, we’re praying that we can expand the Kingdom of God.

What’s Happening at the Presentation & Reception on November 13?

We’ll share with you recent research conducted by The Barna Group and Summit regarding worldviews prevalent in the church, school, and home today. What you will hear is truly jaw-dropping, regarding post-modern, secular, new age, and other worldviews. Today’s daily headlines reveal a tumultuous battle of ideas tearing apart our society. How should Christians respond?

The good news is that there is hope. Summit executive Scott Northway, Vice President of Summit Programs, and Summit faculty member Jason Jimenez will share conference and curriculum resources that you can use to safeguard children, teens and adults. Jason will share from his bestselling book, “Abandoned Faith.”
