Apply yourself and study abroad with purpose! At the Oxford Study Centre you’ll cultivate scholarship for church and culture by studying with Oxford tutors to hone your scholarly skills, and with Kevin James Bywater to clarify and strengthen your Christian convictions.

  • Three different terms are offered each year
  • This is for undergraduates and graduates and those not enrolled, ages 18 and up
  • Earn up to 18 credit hours for undergraduates
  • Come and live in Oxford, England, for 8 or 15 weeks

Participants study with Oxford tutors and enjoy an advanced worldviews course and personal mentoring with Kevin James Bywater.

Study with Oxford faculty and with a seasoned worldview scholar, both to strengthen your scholarly skills and virtues and to broaden and deepen your worldview convictions.

The program is a combination of the Oxford tutorials and the advanced worldviews course. This course runs through weekly worldview colloquia, several intensive study weeks, personalized mentoring, and a fellowship that lasts far beyond the term.

Student Requirements

Typical prerequisites are 2 years of college/university credits and a cumulative GPA of 3.4. But the key for applicants in the initiative, Christian devotion, and academic determination. We host both undergraduates and postgraduates, both singles and couples, those currently enrolled, and those between degrees. In coordination with your home institution, you may receive upwards of 18 credit hours for the Michaelmas (Sept-Dec) or Hilary terms (Jan-Apr), and up to 9 credit hours for the Summer Term (June-Aug).
