HIRING: Church and Ministry Partnerships Manager

Church & Ministry Partnerships Manager

REPORTS TO: Director, Marketing & Sales
PAY RANGE: $52,000 – $64,000 per year


The Church & Ministry Partnerships Manager (PM) is a growth-oriented position for the Marketing and Sales Group. This enthusiastic leader will exhibit a passion and skill to establish and develop new partnerships with Churches, pastors, and ministry leaders to generate registrations to Summit Student Conferences. This dynamic team player must take ownership for deliverables, partnership management, and deliver expected ministry outcomes.


Strategy Formation and KPIs:

  • Create a church partnership strategy and goals in conjunction with the Summit marketing team
  • Execute effective campaigns to achieve recruiting outcomes for student conferences and partnership development goals.

Relationship Management:

  • Identify prospective partnership churches and strategic youth ministry leaders in conjunction with Summit staff and cultivate those relationships to increase student conference registrations
  • Leverage Summit programs and resources to create partnership agreements with churches and ministry leaders
  • Actively promote Powered by Summit to cultivate deeper relationships with local churches, ministries, Christian K–12 schools, and Christian colleges/universities
  • Generate personal leads of church pastors and churches interested in Summit resources
  • Build effective follow-up mechanisms for ongoing support of partner churches
  • Understand the biblical worldview needs of our church partners and work closely with the internal development team to influence the direction of our Summit offerings
  • Travel to—and represent Summit at—external trade shows and leverages sponsorship opportunities to expand the reach and awareness of Summit to the target audience

Collaboration & Execution:

  • Partner externally with churches and ministry influencers; work towards a goal of strengthening a church’s biblical worldview discipleship program with Summit resources
  • Work collaboratively with Summit departments to deliver effective audience communications
  • Partner closely with the Director of Marketing & Sales and Summit staff to ensure effective ministry partnership development and collaboration with churches and ministry influencers
  • Manage partnership development and travel budgets in accordance with Summit guidelines. Ensure compliance with all other Summit Ministries’ policies and procedures

  • Background in sales, partner/account management, business development or marketing
  • Proficient in Netsuite CRM platform, Microsoft Office Suite, lead generation and e-mail platforms
  • Able to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively problem solve. Polished networker, relationship builder, and comfortable at the senior church leadership level
  • Team player, active participant, and willing to pitch-in to further the mission of Summit
  • Enjoy work in a fast-paced remote (United States), office (Manitou Springs, CO) or hybrid
  • Existing regional and/or national relationships with church decision makers is a plus. 


  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, or youth ministry is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years experience developing partnerships with churches or youth ministries
  • General experience with managing a sales or relationship management portfolio
  • Familiarity with the general Christian “market” and Evangelical protestant churches is helpful
  • Up to 25% travel is possible
