Summit Student Conference Kimberly Logan 2016 CAChino, CA | 18 years old

I first heard about Summit Student Conferences in 2014 when my friend attended the very first Summit California conference. My mom and I picked her up after the conference was over and she raved about it. She made me very interested in Summit, but I never thought that I would actually be able to attend. Needless to say, God had other plans. My church blessed me with the opportunity to attend and I am so thankful!

I was a bit anxious about being away from home for two weeks and the whole idea of meeting new people, but I can honestly say that I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend Summit. I have developed great friendships with the girls in my small group. We all bonded together very quickly and have definitely enjoyed this adventure together. It has been an awesome opportunity to meet other ladies from around the country and develop long-lasting friendships with them.

I have also had the privilege of learning from great speakers such as Josh and Sean McDowell, J. Warner Wallace, Jeff Myers, Alan Shlemon, and many others. These speakers have covered topics from homosexuality, bioethics and stem cell research, evolution, and so much more! It has been a great experience of learning, asking questions, and applying this new knowledge to everyday situations.

Summit has definitely challenged me and caused me to grow in my faith. I have had great experiences that I will remember for the rest of my life. I am thankful for the things I’ve learned, the adventures I’ve had, and the people I’ve met. God definitely blessed my time here at Summit.
