Every day, dire news is reported on the state of the U.S. economy: the stock market has fallen nearly 20% since October, the U.S. dollar is as weak as water, the real estate market is in the tank, gas and food prices are sky high, borrowers are defaulting on their loans, banks are failing, the government is contemplating bailouts, and on and on it goes.

What is going on economically and how can Christians be prepared to deal with it?

Greetings again from Wimbledon, England where I am still competing in the Invitational Doubles. My partner, T.J. Middleton, and I have lost our first two matches to a couple of good teams but get a chance to redeem ourselves on July 4th in our final match. Thanks to many of you for your kind words of support.

We discuss their best-selling books and the charge they are leading for the hearts and minds of society in general and Christians in particular. We also go point by point through their factually inaccurate statements and how Christians can defeat their lies with truth.

David Aikman is an award-winning print and broadcast journalist (having been a bureau chief for Time Magazine in Jerusalem, Beijing, and Eastern Europe) and is the author of 12 other books.
