- 1. Why is it important to teach worldview Curriculum?
Christians need to understand that the truth of God's word applies to all of life. They need to be able to discern truth from error, whether sitting in a university classroom or watching the evening news.
- 2. What training is required to teach your worldview Curriculum?
The key components for a successful teacher are a heart-felt vision for worldview thinking and a willingness to invest time and energy in communicating that vision. The video format, along with the discussions and projects, makes it simple to teach the course without extensive background or training. However, many educators find they benefit from "catching the big picture" through the Summit Ministries' Adult Conference.
- 3. What is the goal of the TLC Curriculum?
The goal is to teach students the framework of the biblical Christian worldview, giving them a better understanding of how biblical passages and principles are to relate to every area of life, including Theology, Philosophy, as well as the creation/evolution debate, politics, the importance of the family, current social issues, and much more.
- 4. For whom is the WIF Curriculum intended?
The CD-Rom that accompanies this curriculum has four separate teaching tracks: high school, college, adult, and homeschool. This study was designed for Christian Sunday school classes, weekday Bible studies, individual studies, and for a home school environment.
- 5. What materials does each student need for the TLC Curriculum?
Each student should have a copy of the Student Manual and those taking the class for homeschool will need a copy of the Textbook. Students will find these resources invaluable as they continue developing their worldview thinking. The journals are consumables while the textbooks are reusable.
- 6. How is the video used in the WIF Curriculum?
This documentary-style video supplements the curriculum components, enhancing the content of each lesson. It can be viewed in short segments of 5 minutes per lesson, or used at the end of the study as a review. It is a total of 60 minutes in length. Instructions for its use are suggested in each of the Leaders' Guides.
- 7. How can I place an order for the WIF Curriculum?
