The Super Bowl
The largest sporting event in America is also known for something else. I’m John Stonestreet, and this is The Point.
The spectacle that is the Super Bowl 46 will air Sunday night from Indianapolis. This annual event takes precedent over projects, yard work, Sunday night services, household budgets, and especially diets. This year’s battle between the Patriots and the Giants will compete for our attention with commercials that cost 3.5 million dollars and Madonna’s half-time show.
And, of course, these large sporting events are lucrative sales day. But as Mission Network News reported this week, it’s not only junk food, team jerseys, and big screen TV’s that are for sale. Human beings are too.
We don’t think there is slavery in this country anymore, but the Super Bowl has been called the largest sex trafficking event in the United States. Thankfully, the Indiana legislature, and several Christian groups have stepped up to create awareness and stop trafficking during the event. So, while you watch the game, remember their efforts and pray that slavery will end in America. For the PointRadio.org, I’m John Stonestreet.

Believe me, I have driven cars in India. Driving a truck in India is exmeetrly dangerous. I hope she has enough security around her. I would not like my wife to drive anything in that country. Lots of credit to Lisa. And good that she fired that pain@a$$ Tashi. I was getting sick of Chalo , Chalo , Chalo , Chalo , Chalo rant.
