In fact, according to Joe Carter of FirstThings.com, we need good discernment right now. Last week, the New Yorkerâ€™s Ryan Lizza wrote a hatchet piece on presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann. This isnâ€™t surprising â€“ sheâ€™s a huge target right now. What is surprising is the direct falsehoods Lizza wrote about Francis Schaeffer, a top Christian thinker of the 20th century who influenced hundreds of others, including Chuck Colson, David Noebel, and Nancy Pearcey.
