No Dissent Allowed
Even B’s aren’t allowed to question LGBT claims. For the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview, I’m John Stonestreet with The Point.
Since sociologist Mark Regnerus published his study of children raised by homosexual parents, he’s been excoriated by the nation’s media and placed under investigation for “scientific misconduct.” Why? His research suggest that same-sex parenting wasn’t as rosy as we’ve been told.
Now Cal State professor Robert Lopez is in trouble for saying Regnerus is the first to actually listen to real stories of these children. Lopez is a self-identified bisexual raised in a lesbian home whose story of pain didn’t matter to opponents. They quickly attacked him as a gay basher.
Says Lopez, “I’m a bisexual raised by a lesbian couple, who helped countless people dying of AIDS. I've spent my life cleaning up the messes left by gay politics. I wrote an honest essay. That's bashing?”
But facts that go against LGBT dogma are apparently not allowed—no matter who you are. For The Point, I’m John Stonestreet.
