Miraculous Movements

Miraculous Movements

You won’t hear this in the news. For the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview, I’m John Stonestreet with The Point.

Michelle Vu in The Christian Post recently described the new book Miraculous Movements by Jerry Trousdale, of CityTeam International.

What’s happening in Sub-Saharan Africa—a region dominated by Islam—is nothing less than “miraculous,” writes Trousdale. In just the past few years more than 200,000 Muslims have embraced Christianity when they hear the good news of Jesus, the Messiah. Even former sheikhs, imams and militant Islamists are converting—and becoming leaders in the church.

The book, Miraculous Movements, describes in detail these unprecedented conversions and the methods Christian organizations are using.  “…we are talking about fairly extreme areas of Islamic influence,” says Trousdale, some “with 99 or 100 percent Muslim populations. These are people who have been Islamic for well over a hundred years…”

But they’re converting, at rates Trousdale compares with the book of Acts.

Come to and we’ll link you to this book and more about the incredible and ongoing events that inspired it. I’m John Stonestreet.
