Session 7 | Day 10b
Summit: its like nothing I have ever experienced before. I have been here for a week so far, and it is safe to say that I will not return home the same person. I have been a Christian for quite a while, and I have always had questions about my faith that I could never seem to get answered on my own. Summit answered those questions. The week that I have been here has been beneficial in so many ways. Not only did it strengthen my faith by showing me why I believe in what I believe, but it also showed me how to defend my faith from those who wish to seek out and destroy me.
Personally, the lessons and lectures have helped me to seal the cracks and build up the foundation of my faith. It also helped me reinforce and solidify my worldview and morals. From a defensive standpoint, I can say with confidence I can repel and disable most of the enemy minds that are a product of today’s corrupt culture and worldviews.
I have acquired so much invaluable information in just one week of classes: I have learned about all of the worldviews, how they work, what their purpose is, why evolution is false, where this world is going to end up if it continues on this destructive path, and so much more. The speakers are wise, the scenery is beautiful, and the people are kind. Summit is the place to get away to so one can expand and further his or her relationship with God.
But to the person who is reading this, learning discussion points aren’t enough; you have to know why these people believe what they do and what their intentions are. Once you accomplish that, you can apply the word of God to show them why they are wrong (or at least present your stand on the subject). But don’t misinterpret this: just coming to Summit, taking the classes, and going back to your regularly scheduled programming isn’t enough. Summit offers a strong foundation upon which to build and the tools to do so…the only thing missing is you.
