Session 7 | Day 10a
Arriving at Summit a little over a week ago, I was filled with a multitude of emotions. I was excited to be experiencing something new, but at the same time I was extremely apprehensive. As the week began, I was a little nervous about being here because I was not as well educated in faith as most of the other students, and frankly I know now that I know even less then I thought I did.
As the week went on, I was amazed by the amount of information that I was being exposed to in such a short amount if time. I have not only learned how to defend my Christian views, but I have also learned and developed my faith with every lecture, seminar, and peers’ testimony. Summit has been the most trying experience of my life emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Yet everything about Summit has truly been a blessing, and I can honestly say before the session is even over that my life has been changed for the better.
Before I came I would have told you: “I know nothin’ and I can prove it,” quoted from Dr. Noebel. Now I am confident in saying, “Ask me what I believe, because I can explain it.”
