Session 3 | Day 7
As with most mornings here at Summit, this morning started out way too early. Getting up at 6:00AM every day really gets to you after a while, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Summit has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I can say from experience that it’s just as great as a second year student as it was the year before, mainly because they’ve given us really cool breakout sessions with some of the speakers that have gone deeper than in class and have been in a more intimate setting. It’s been pretty intense trying to keep up with all the lectures and activities.
But I was extremely excited for today, which made it slightly easier to get out of bed! We had four lectures this morning from Bob Linden and Chuck Edwards, and then we left for a cookout at the park for the rest of the day. I guess you could say that, compared to the rest of the week, today has been somewhat of a lazy day. It was great just to hang out with friends and to meet new people. Today was by far one of my favorite days.
