Back to Routine...At Least for Now
It is hard to believe that we are almost halfway done with the semester. So far it has been a great experience and I am glad that I've had this opportunity. Last week we had guest speaker, J.P. Moreland, come and talk to us about philosophy. He challenged us to try and find our true selves that have been hidden by the false self we put on due to fear or culture.

Last weekend we did not venture far but just stayed at the lodge or went into town to do some shopping or use scarce technologies like internet or cell phones. After a week of classes both morning and evening it was nice to relax a little and get ready for the next week.
Sunday was more exciting than usual this week because it was youth Sunday and the service was run by the youth. A few of us here at Snow Wolf Lodge were able to participate and help lead some of the worship. The message was really powerful because they put on a skit that talked about how the culture takes us away from Christ. Also, a couple of the teens shared about the struggle youths in school encounter due to peer pressure.

Monday started and we were back to our normal routine with Dr. Bauman instructing us in our usual classes. This week it is almost overwhelming with how much reading we have had to do for Dr, Williams who is our guest speaker and will be coming next week.
Today, we talked about purposing to be the best that we can be in the field of work that we are entering. It really challenged me to desire to be the best and study hard to glorify God.
