Summit Ministries

Here we are, once again at the start of a new session. This will be our first full session of 2008, with 180 students arriving from all over the world. One of the guys in my small group is from Indonesia! I'm looking forward to hearing more about his country and the stories of how God has been at work in the lives of my 180 new friends.

As a staff, this session will demand more of us than the previous ones have. More students=more work. I'm grateful for the chance that we've had to become familiar with our jobs and good friends with each other before the increased pressures of a full session.

The start of this session brings with it a tinge of sadness as I realize that my time at Summit Ministries this summer is more than half completed. My departure date of July 10 is coming far too soon for my liking.
