Session 6 | Day 4
It's Wednesday night (I think...the days kind of blur together) and we just finished a classroom video: "The Wall Of Separation." It had some great info, even though some people seemed to have trouble staying awake.
This morning started off bright and early for me with a brisk hike up Red Mountain. It was beautiful and very worth it, even though it only left me with a few minutes to grab breakfast and shower. After Doc's Bible hour, John Stonestreet talked to us about marriage, family, his kids, his wife, etc. One thing that he seemed really fired about is the importance of Christian young people getting married and having (lots of) kids. He's on the faculty at Bryan College and is a great speaker. He also had a lot of info about our society's moral decline, tracing it back to the fall of the traditional family. Next, Mark Cahill spoke to us. If you've never heard him speak and are given the opportunity, definitely take advantage of it! He's incredible. He evangelizes without fear and has an amazing passion for the lost and teaching us to get out of our little comfort zones and actually share our faith.
Today was also the infamous BIBLE QUIZ. Most people didn't flunk it, which is great. One smart individual scored 152, which is pretty good for 180 questions. The food here is amazing... and everyone is really, really cool. Especially the staff. They're incredible.
But it's lights out now so I better go...
Good night. God bless. etc.
