Session 6 | Day 13

Today has been so fun and so fast! The last day was over by the time I finally woke up! At this point we are all past tired- zombies at best- and the speakers had an incredible task. Dr. Noebel, Chuck Edwards, and Todd Cothran had to sum up two weeks of hard core knowledge for us and tell us how best to use it... good gravy. Many times over the past two weeks different speakers have referred to Summit as a fire hydrant in the face... I totally agree. This was my second time as a Summit student and while it sank a LOT further than last time, it was still overwhelming at times.

There were two groups this afternoon, one headed to Focus On The Family and the other to the Air Force Base, I went on the tour of Focus on the Family and was amazed to find that Whit's End was as fun today as it was 12 years ago when I last got to visit . We had a blast. It was great because after we got back it rained, which always impresses me here in the mountains, its gorgeous. The mist that enshrouds the mountains is completely enthralling and definitely worth being cold for ( I'm from Florida so 70 degrees is cold). It is wonderful to just be able to sit on the porch and enjoy what God put in front of us.

Graduation was so much fun, the room was sparkling and looked the way we found it when we came and parents got to come and enjoy Dr. Noebel with their kids. There were a couple of special songs performed by Summit students. It is always fun to see the talent and diversity of a group. This camp has changed my mindset for school, no longer do I want to go back to my school and touch my friends. I want to reach the campus for Christ and I know its totally possible. A great thing for each parent to pray for would be that their students would have the courage to take the knowledge we have gathered and spread it out so that it might multiply and reach the nation. Parents- be proud of your students, they have learned a lot and grown in Christ and as a body of followers together and thanks so much to the many parents that made it possible for their students to attend.(P.S. Let your kids sleep if at all possible... they are exhausted)
