Session 5 | Day 6
Hey Mom and Dad,
I am having a great time at Summit. Thanks so much for sending me here; I am learning a lot. The lectures will prove to be very useful next fall as I go to college and am challenged to defend my Biblical worldview in the classroom.
To my other readers, today our keynote speaker was Dr. Calvin Beisner. While teaching us how to refute global warming alarmists, he taught how God is faithful and reinforced our confidence that our universe is designed by a wise and faithful Creator. (Gen. 1:31) Dr. Noebel also talked to us tonight and taught us that ideas have consequences, whether good or bad.
Summit, however, is not all about the lectures.... sports time rocks! It was a blast yesterday as I played football for a few hours. The best part was my team winning 9-5. As for today, paintballing in the Rocky Mountains was my highlight. Although, the food is never disappointing!
Through the teachings at Summit, I am coming to realize that God's grace is truly amazing. "We've known less days to sing God's praise than when we first begun."
