Summit Ministries

Today we took a much needed break from our studies. I spent most of the day whitewater rafting. It was an amazing experience for a Kansas boy who had never had a chance to do that before.
Through being at Summit my spiritual life has been rejuvenated by speakers such as Mark Cahill. He caused me to become excited about sharing my belief in Christ. Today I had the opportunity to discuss my Savior, Jesus Christ, with the tour guide on the rafting trip. I have also been encouraged and edified by the friends I have made throughout this last week.
Tonight our group was blessed by an excellent praise and worship team. Afterwards, Dr. Noebel gave a lecture on his analysis of atheists such as Nietzche and Freud. He also discussed how Christianity is treated with contempt in higher education. Our last session of the day was a video on the the complexity of life and the strong evidence for an intelligent designer.
