Session 5 | Day 7
Hello to all!
You know you are at Summit when you are awake and in class at 8:15 on a Saturday morning. That is where we all were and laughing through the lecture of
Dr. Nobel. You can never fall asleep during his lectures. The sessions of Dr. Asbell
and Eric Smith were very thought provoking and great. Mike Haley did an excellent job presenting his talk about homosexuality. Through his talk we were once again
reminded of God's love and grace to all who are created by Him and of His faithfulness to those who repent.
We watched a video called "Obsession" before lunch. It was about Islam and its belief which created interesting discussions among us students. It was an eye opening experience for us to realize that Muslims absoutely hate the U.S.A. and to hear about what they would like to do to us. After watching the video I was convicted that I need to get more involved in politics. Most importantly, I think that we all realized that we need to get on our knees and pray. That will be the only way that America will continue to be the nation it is!
At sports time, you could play fresher, soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, or just hang out. Needless to say, we all had a blast. A wonderful afternoon was finished off with a delicious picnic. The kitchen staff once again outdid themselves by serving us an amazing meal.
I leave you all in God's grace and mercy. Remember Matthew 28:19-20.
Hi, and love to my family.
