Session 4 | Day 4

We woke this morning to the familiar sound of the Summit bell, which was immediately followed by the night watch "wake up calls". Stumbling out of bed, we quickly dressed in an effort to be near the front of the breakfast line. After a casual (and somewhat drowsy) conversation over the breakfast table, we proceeded to the conference hall.

After devotions, our first scheduled speaker was Mark Cahill, who is a dedicated evangelist. He spoke to us on evangelism and how we need to take advantage of EVERY witnessing opportunity that we have. It is not a choice, but a duty to share our beliefs with others! We all left the conference room inspired to go out into the streets and witness!

Our second speaker of the day was Kevin Bywater, who continued his educational series on Islam. We learned about the origins of Islam, and how to defend Christianity from an Islamic point of view without offending them. For example, they believe strongly that the scriptures, the Quar'an in their case, should be respected and kept free of marks on any pages of text. Thus if an opportunity arises to share our faith with one of Islamic belief, it might be a good idea to bring a clean, unmarked Bible.

We also heard from Dr. Noebel and learned about what we need to do to properly present our faith in a college situation. Well, the lights out bell just rang, so it's off to bed for now!

THANKS FOR READING!
