Session 1 | Day 3
I learned a few things at Summit today. First, the weather in Colorado is pretty erratic. Second, Summit is amazing. Third, the weather in Colorado is pretty erratic seriously. We had classes this morning with Dr. J.P. Moreland and Peter Hammond. One word wow! Anything I thought I had an idea of, including reality, was shattered today and built back up by some godly, scholarly worldviews. Lunch was food in the afternoon we had Dr. Bauman speak on meaning and the meaning of meaning. Pretty profound to say the least.
Then we had sports time after our speaker. Some of us went to Wal-Mart
I should've gone to Wal-Mart. After ten minutes of playing frisbee a monster storm rolled through, with lightning no more than a mile a way hitting the ground. We ran for cover just in time as we were bombarded with hail and pouring rain. I could see my breath, which was weird because only hours before it had been a beautiful sunny day. So, that is when I learned that Colorado weather is almost as bad as Texas weather
almost.
