Session 1 | Day 2

So apparently I am the first Summit student to partake in the blog writing experience. This is also my first time at Summit, so yeah, lots of firsts tonight. Well, so far so good, it seems, everyone is enjoying themselves. Like even right now I am sitting in the lobby listing to the chatter and laughter of everyone. Pretty cool that we are already making friends after barely twenty-four hours. So it seems like this will be a really awesome session.

So I'm supposed to summarize my day today. It was a pretty super cool day. I got up a little before seven, and so did my two roommates, David and Matt. After cleaning our room super duper well, cough cough, we moved it to breakfast. I had a really big cup of really good coffee, if you haven't tried the Irish cream with hot chocolate coffee mix, man, you're missing out. The sessions this morning went really well, Dr. Linden did a sweet job.

I went to lunch and ate a salad, with fruit, which rocked. And actually had more coffee at lunch too. But that's not near as exciting as the next session with Dr. J.P. Moreland, who totally blew my mind away. Literally I was on the edge of my seat listening to this guy. He explained everything so well, and it just made so much sense, in short, he is probably the smartest person I've ever heard speak.

Next was free time. I absolutely love free time. I started off taking a little power nap to prepare for the rest of the day. Then I got up and went and worked out with my roommate David and Nathan and Blake. That was a good time. Then David, Alyssa, Nola, Nathan and I went downtown to eat supper. We found a cozy little place, to eat but I don't remember what it was called. Most got hamburgers but I got crazy and got the burrito, it was alright for Mexican food in Colorado. Sadly, however, we missed the open forum, but I asked Kendall to fill me in on how it went. She says it went really well, and the conversation turned very deep and sounded super interesting. So, bummer I missed out on that fun. But I did, surprise surprise, go get coffee, good stuff caffeine, especially for staying awake in class.

So then I went to the last class with Peter Hammond which was amazing. He is a awesome man on a mission. I probably speak for most when I say I cant wait to hear more from him. Now its free time till lights out and they just told me I don't have a lot of time until then so I'm going to wrap this up. Overall, today was a really good day. I cant wait to see what's going to happen tomorrow.

Ok till next time.
